The Organization
Established in 2021, the Loyola Schools Cryptocurrency Club (CC) under the supervision of the League of Independent Organizations (LIONS) is a newly-added club to the roster of student organizations around LS and Ateneo de Manila University. The CC prides itself as the Philippines’ first-ever University Cryptocurrency Club.
In CC, we aim to provide an environment conducive to learning and discussion about the exciting world of cryptocurrency and Web3 technology. Anchored by our guiding principles—community development, personal growth, and education, we organize projects and initiatives that provide a platform for dialogue and provide them with knowledge and tools to make informed decisions on cryptocurrencies and technologies related to it such as crypto mining, Defi, Dapps, DEX, NFTs, Metaverse, smart contracts, and the such.
As the Philippines’ first-ever University Cryptocurrency Organization, we aim to provide the education and promotion of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology within the Loyola Schools community, and to empower students to become leaders in the emerging field of Web3.
Our vision is to foster a culture of curiosity, critical thinking, and collaboration among our members, and to create opportunities for
them to make a meaningful impact in the field.
